How it works
Find a producer: Go to our Producer page to find out what is available, who is selling it and why and how they sell it.
Connect: Get to know your local food entrepreneur. We support multiple devices for ordering. Sign up to keep track of their harvest schedules and remember your favorite items.
Buy: Order the items you want and get exactly what you ordered! Pick up your items from one of two farmers markets or the Ghettostead. Deliveries available to some buyers.

How do you select the producers and restaurants in the OG SoLA Food Hub?
Producers and restaurants have to meet a set of criteria related to many factors. They must be in the communities that make up South Los Angeles. They must show a commitment to sustainable agriculture – including organic growing practices, humane animal husbandry and transparency in ingredient use. Restaurants must largely source produce locally and from our producers. All participants pay fair, living wages to employees.

How do I contact one of the producers?
Each producer is also a member and has a profile page with a contact button.

Why do the items available vary over the week?
Our producers have varying harvest schedules. Sign up to create a calendar of your favorite producer’s schedule.

Why aren’t you in my neighborhood?
The OG SoLA Food Hub promotes local food entrepreneurs of South Los Angeles, many of whom have not had a forum or space for learning about and then creating food businesses. Our goal is to increase access to fresh food in this community by residents who live in the community, while also offering wonderful alternatives and encouragement to visit, to consumers outside the South Los Angeles area.
